Fence Import & Shipping Checklist

Plan your fencing purchase with the information needed for a practical freight quotation.

Information to include in your enquiry

1. Product & quantity

Fence type, panel dimensions, mesh specification, post sizes, accessories, total quantity and required finish.

2. Destination

Destination country, port or delivery address, requested trade term and whether inland delivery is needed.

3. Packing preferences

Confirm pallet or bundle requirements, unloading constraints and any local labeling needs.

4. Shipping planning

Ask for estimated container loading, gross weight, packing list and expected production schedule. Final figures depend on the order.

5. Import documentation

Confirm invoice, packing list, bill of lading and any destination-specific documents with your customs broker.

6. Final checks

Approve drawings, surface finish, packaging details, shipment terms and document names before dispatch.

Freight cost, container capacity, lead times and customs requirements are not fixed claims. They must be confirmed for each shipment.
